On "Teh Auhtor" - "teh auhtor" is the root of all the horror in "The Worst Redwall Fanfic Ever". He controls the world of Redwall, to the dismay of many. Why? Because he is, of course, an idiot! He's the type of person who would go onto a Redwall message board and post a topic entitled "QAUKE3 IS SO MUHC BETER TAHN U I FRAG TEH WEEKLINGS LOL". I created him with all of the worst elements I could muster: typos, grammatical errors, magic in fanfics, godmoding characters, bad writing, 1337-ness, Dragonball Z over-fanatacization... you name it, he's got it. He's my crowning acheivement of bad-ness. It's a lot of fun being "the auhtor", u looser

On Superstripe the Unrealistic - If you've RPed, you've met Superstripe. Superstripe is the huge, powerful badger who comes up to Redwall, saying "Hello, I'm here to kill vermin. EULALIA". Then he uses magic and "energy blasts", and kills other RPers without permission. Superstripe, in addition to being the ultimate godmoder, is a descendant of Rawnblade. Why? Because I feel Rawnblade was teetering on the edge of godmode-ness. "Oh, look, it's those rats that killed a hare. I think I shall kill them all with one swipe. EULALIA! There, now I will take their boat." Geeze! Worst part of Mariel, if you ask me. Anyways, Superstripe was awfully fun to write about, and I'm thinking about giving him his own series in the future. (By the way, his arsenal of goodies in Part 2 was actually taken from the RP profile of an actual person! Thanks, Deathblade Killbloodstripe, or whatever, for involuntarily contributing!)

On Brushslay - Brushslay is a bad character. He walks into the Abbey at the end of the fanfic to kill vermin. And he's a fox. He's the stereotypical bad "Good Vermin" RPer. Of course, he's simply misunderstood, and the Woodlanders are so biased against them, and a big Badger killed his parents... yeesh. His battle cry? "I am not your friend. I am your ally. I am not a vermin." Sound farmiliar from any RPs you've played at? You have no idea how little I've modified this guy from some characters I've seen RPed.

On Shuu - Shuu is that character who shouldn't be able to fight, who does, and does insanely well. Shuu is the Abbot who "LIKE KILL STUFF". Shuu wasn't the most satirical character in the fanfic, but he was funny, so... "I LIKE KILL STUFFS!!!"

On Gartar the Mean & Krad - Gartar has blue headfur. He also wears jeans and a T-shirt. Blech! :P Gartar's the traditional flat fanfic villain. I don't hold it against him, though. Some of the story's best moments come from him - "I hate fishes", while very -random-, created funnier jokes than I had expected. Gartar's impossibly large horde is also the subject of many jokes. But you can't mention Gartar without mentioning Krad. Krad came from the fact that I actually made an *unintentional* error in the first part - I said that Gartar's sister killed him, instead of the other way around! I decided to fill the plot hole with Krad. Krad is the female fox villain we've all seen RPed at least once... however, in this case, she is extremely stereotypical... yawn... moving on!

On References in "The Worst Redwall Fanfic Ever" - Chapter 1: "All Your Base" is mentioned very subtly in the opening. Nothing else! Chapter 2: I poke a bit of fun here at those who rip storylines off of other literature and blatantly include it in fanfics by ripping off the ending of the first Harry Potter book. (The "diclaiimer" adds to the effect of the joke.) Chapter 3: HERE'S where I go nuts with references! The poem is just a reference to crummy riddles in bad fanfics. There is a LARGE portion of this chapter devoted to a big "All Your Base" reference. Yes, All Your Abbey Are Belong To Cluny, folks. Captain Planet appears randomly to teach us about the enviornment. Finally, "Darkdeath" appears, firing Kamehamehas (Dragonball Z) and Hadokens (Street Fighter). Chapter 4: even MORE references! First, a reference to the Ask Brian contest which was going on at the time, and then a cameo of POKEMON CARDS, of all things! Superstripe becomes a "Super Badger" (SsJ3 Suprestripe r0x0rz L0L). The incantation Matthias reads contains references to the names of contestants in ROC: Survivor! Chapter 5: Goku from Dragonball (Z) appears for the shortest cameo ever. (People actually have complained that Goku didn't act honestly enough in my fanfic... triple-ack!) Epilogue: Matthias summons the Redwall defenders in the manner of Liono, lord of the Thundercats. The Red Badger is a reference to The Long Patrol's forum's writing section's early days. A guy named "The Red Badger" always jokingly reminded authors of stories that they forgot to put a red badger into the story. I decided to incorporate one into mine, as I was writing the first chapter, to finally appease him. :P
